LUPA Democrats: Votes and Rita’s

This event series is designed to increase voter registration and civic engagement on Lincoln
University’s campus while strengthening ties to the surrounding Oxford community.
Students will be incentivized to register through free Rita’s Italian Ice and interactive outreach
activities. The Rita’s events are intentionally placed outdoors in high-traffic areas, making civic
participation visible, social, and fun. This initiative also fulfills a long-term goal of registering
students.
