About Us
We, the members of Inferno Dance Company, seek to promote a positive image of our organization by encouraging meaningful activities, community service projects, trust, reliability, friendship, and a genuine love for our organization and the people we serve. We strive to honor Lincoln University and its rich heritage and history while developing into productive undergraduates during our time on campus and contributing alumni after graduation. The Executive Board members of Inferno Dance Company are elected to represent the interests of our members and organization. We are committed to participating in community service initiatives, organizational programs, and University events. We also seek opportunities to collaborate with the Student Government Association to better understand its role in serving the student body and to develop the leadership skills necessary to make a meaningful impact on campus. As Executive Board members, we recognize that each position requires diligence, character, accountability, commitment, and the qualities reflected in effective leadership. As students of the first Historically Black College and University, we understand that it can be easy to become overwhelmed by the many activities, responsibilities, and new experiences that come with the college journey. Inferno Dance Company provides a space where students can discover their leadership potential, pursue campus involvement, and build valuable relationships and professional networks. We want every member to have the opportunity to tell their story through movement while connecting with other dance organizations through competitions, classes, workshops, and collaborative experiences. We aim to celebrate and preserve the culture of dance not only at Lincoln University but throughout the broader HBCU community. Through unity, cleanliness, discipline, and strength, we represent the passion, pride, and energy that define us. We are the heat. We are the movement. We are Inferno!
