Through collaborative activities and real-world scenarios, candidates will demonstrate the skills needed to support and guide new students.

    What We Are Looking For:

    • Communication: Active listening and clear expression.

Interview Format: Selected candidates will participate in a one-on-one interview with the Program Manager and addtional LLE staff to discuss their leadership experiences, communication skills, qualifications, and commitment to supporting new students.

Timeframe: Individual interviews will take place virtually over the winter break. Selected candidates will receive an invitation and scheduling instructions through their Lincoln University email.

PART 3: FINAL SELECTION AND OFFERS
Following the individual interviews, candidates will be evaluated based on their overall performance throughout the selection process. We anticipate selecting 24–30 Peer Mentors for the upcoming academic year.

Position Offers: Selected candidates will receive an offer and contract via their Lincoln University email. Candidates will have approximately one week to review, sign, and return their contract to formally accept the position.

Pending Decisions: Some applications may remain under consideration until all positions have been filled. Participation in the selection process does not guarantee an offer.

All candidates will be notified of their final selection status once decisions have been made.
