Ready to Roar: Virtual Onboarding

Ready to Roar is Lincoln University’s asynchronous onboarding program designed to help new students prepare for a successful transition to college before arriving on campus. Through a series of interactive modules, students will learn about Lincoln’s history, traditions, academic expectations, campus resources, and opportunities for involvement while completing important enrollment and orientation requirements.

The program introduces students to the Lincoln community through welcome messages from university leaders, information about campus life, and practical guidance for navigating their first semester. Students will explore topics such as academic success strategies, career and placement preparation, student support services, wellness resources, leadership opportunities, and campus engagement.

The onboarding experience is organized into six self-paced modules:

  • Hear the Roar – Discover Lincoln’s legacy, mission, traditions, and sense of belonging.
  • Find Your Roar – Explore your goals, purpose, and placement information.
  • Build Your Roar – Develop academic success skills, including time management, studying, note-taking, and test preparation.
  • Strengthen Your Roar – Learn about campus resources, support services, and student wellness.
  • Roar Together – Explore student involvement, leadership opportunities, and community building.
  • Roar into Action – Complete final steps and prepare for New Student Orientation.

By completing Ready to Roar, students will arrive on campus informed, connected, and prepared to begin their Lincoln journey with confidence. Students must have this completed prior to move-in day on August 16th.

Access your Ready to Roar: Virtual Onboarding

Step 1: Log in to https://lincolnu.instructure.com by using your Lincoln email account in Google Chrome or Firefox.

  • Converting designs to code
  • Writing SEO performant code
  • Integrating React / Angular

Step 2: Pick your Lincoln University Microsoft account and enter your Lincoln University Username and Password (same credentials you use to access your Lincoln email account) to log in.

Step 3: Click Sign In, and then you will be directed to your personal Lincoln University Canvas Dashboard.

Step 4: On the dashboard click the Ready to Roar (NSO Course).
