Complete the Financial Aid Checklist

Please review the steps to complete your Financial Aid Checklist on your LU Self-Service Portal.

Outside Scholarship Information:
Students who have been awarded scholarships from external organizations should complete the following steps:

Submit the scholarship check to the Office of Financial Aid, the Bursar, or have the awarding organization mail the check directly to the office.

If the scholarship check has not yet been issued or received, submit a Scholarship Award Notification Letter or award certificate by emailing or mailing it to the Office of Financial Aid. Your Scholarship Award Notification Letter or Award certificate should include:

• The name of the awarding organization or company
• The scholarship award amount
• The recipient's name (your name)
• The academic term and/or academic year for which the scholarship will be applied

Providing this documentation helps the Financial Aid Office anticipate the scholarship and apply the funds to your account once they are received.
